I'm using NT, I tried all of the things you suggested, I still can't get to the site. Is this a simple problem and I'm just not seeing it. It seems like it can't find the service. Is there anything I can do, i'm a lost newbie. I really appreciate your help, I have learned so much from supporting people like yourself in this mail group. Thank you for your assistance. -j It'd be good if we knew which OS you were using. If it's NT or Win2K and you've set it up to run as a service, just restart the service. If all else fails, reboot! That would probably work with Linux too <g> (sounds mildly provacative, eh? <g>) A note to the wise ones - at least for me on Win2K the zope shutdown button (in zope) always returns Zope Error Zope has encountered an error while publishing this resource. exceptions.SystemExit Zope has exited normally. and won't restart unless I go to the Windows control panel.
