ahhh... good point! :)
It does have the added protection of not letting some newbie range() gazillions of objects. If you're clever enough to use range() in this way, then you are welcome to extend it's 'range' by up to powers of one thousand as much as you'd like. It also aint pretty. ;) -Michel
