I read that it is possible to call Perl from Zope according to the ZopeBook:

Is this correct? We've been having trouble actually getting it to run, and our web admin says that "ZopePerl is dead anyway".
He's correct. At least in those chapters that I am updating for the 2.7 Edition I am removing all references to it. jens
