You are so right. It's called the Z-shaped learning curve. Trying to understand Zope before you dive in as a "mistake". Do the examples in the Zope book and any other examples you can find. How-to's etc. Then you need to develop a project, and then when you run into problems ask on the mailing list and the #zope irc channel. Regards Max M
