[Zope] initial access failure

Sorry to ask this lame question but I installed Zope from the supplied Mandrake rpms. Started server. The default access account is superuser/123. This failed, so used zpasswd to change the user account name and passwd, even set it to no domain restrictions but no go. accessing localhost:8080/manager and all components are installed. file permissions are set too: -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 30 Apr 10 00:25 /usr/bin/access* Any info would be appreciated to get this going.
