Hi all, Whilst (ahem) trying to restrict access to part of my Zope Server to certain IP addresses, I've inadvertently locked myself out of this section! Surely as the admin of the entire Server I can overwrite this somehow? I was following these instructions: http://www.zope.org/Members/muesli/AuthByAddress Everything was okay until I did this: Now restrict access to your new role in the standard way: Deselect all the checkboxes under Acquire permission settings?. There should be a column on the right for your new role. Check the permissions for Access contents information, Search ZCatalog, Use Database Methods, and View. Click the Change button to save your changes. I say everything was okay, it wasn't restricting access - anybody could still visit these pages. So I Deselected ALL the checkboxes under "Aqcuire permissions settings" - after assigning the 4 mentioned permissions to my "RestrictedAccess" role - and hey presto! cannot get back in. Whilst I set a blank password, it won't let me back in with it!! ????!!!! So if anybody could possibly tell me how I might override whatever I have done here, I'd be most grateful! :) Regards, Greg Conway.
