Hi Jonathan, first of all you seem to have another problem concerning your question-mark-key. Its probably returning a dot instead. It may be a rapidely growing virus, since I also saw it on many other postings from different people. Your Zope should start if it did run as service when you start it again with the "services". If not, there might be another problem. In such case you may want to start the zope with "start.bat" in the directory where zope resides to see eventual problems. It'd be good if we knew which OS you were using. If it's NT or Win2K and you've set it up to run as a service, just restart the service. If all else fails, reboot! That would probably work with Linux too <g> (sounds mildly provacative, eh? <g>)
A note to the wise ones - at least for me on Win2K the zope shutdown button (in zope) always returns

exceptions.SystemExit
Zope has exited normally.
and won't restart unless I go to the Windows control panel.
