Hi Matt,
I'm playing with DCOracle2 and your page on zope.org is a bit garbled as to the current releases. At upper right on http://zope.org/Members/matt/dco2 you can see "Latest Release: Pre Release 1", but that seems to be very old.
Zope.org is something I don't really touch anymore; I find it awkward to work with, and the payoff isn't there. The CVS sources are OK. If I were to do a lot of further maintenance on the project I'd be inclined to move it to sourceforge, I think.
AFAICT the latest stable release is actually 1.2. Maybe it's time to declare 1.3 stable?
The latest CVS is always "stable" in the sense that I never left things checked in that were obviously busted (nonobvious bustings get called features, you pay more for those). The version nomenclature was mostly a nod to how often I built the binaries, which isn't very often, since everyone asks for "can I have a binary for python X against Oracle Y on platform Z" and the build complexity ran up to some 21 or so permutations and I stopped being interested in trying to maintain a private build farm of those platforms. Fortunately, everyone *except* the Windows users can build their own binaries. However, I no longer have access to a Windows build environment (well, perhaps I have an old old version of Visual C++ if I ever find the CD) so I don't build binaries anymore.
