I didn't use Apache, instead I opted for the ZopeHTTPserver. The idea of the Zope or Medusa server's in more inline with my needs. I recommend it as a faster method to get going and see how Zope works. DAve. On Wed, 09 Dec 1998, Michael Bailey scratched:
Yahooooooo
Reinstall as user set file and dir permissions to user start server as user
I can connect, "Mom, I'm home!"

Hi Dave,
I've been at it a couple of nights (as I guess you might have!) and have still not had success. Mind if I ask you some questions?
<Assuming you answer yes now> :)
Reinstalled as user. Did you log in as 'user' or as *a* user?
I'm running redhat5.1 with the apache that comes with it. I installed OK but I can't get the management screen up. Server log's show it's a permission problem.
I'll be pretty excited to get it working.
thanks,
Mike
