Hello,
In my hunt for my memory leak, I have discivered I probably shouldn't use REQUEST.set nearly as much as I do.
The answer to your implied question ("Can I use unbalanced 'let'?") is no. dtml-let's closest living relative is LISP let: It's an assignment that introduces a scope. Using REQUEST.set shouldn't lead to leaks. It was true long ago but isn't anymore. Of course, I'm assuming you aren't creating cycles in which case you shouldn't do that.
