We found that Zope crashed every day when we used it on a public server. Putting it behind Apache fixed the problem - and it's been rock solid since. Looking at the logs we still get large numbers of malformed requests and attempts at exploits so my guess is that zServer isn't so good at handling this. Stability is absolutely fine using zServer directly on our private network on identical hardware. Pls if you have an idea of what the problem is kindly advise us on what to do to solve this problem. You are using Python 2.1.3?
Then, we do not know why your Zope crashes. There have been lots of crashes before Zope 2.4.4 and Python 2.1.3. Some people have written documentation about how to analyse such crashes. Please search Zope.org for "spinning" or "crashing". Dieter
