thanks, Oleg and Phil, that's quite a relief. Now I'm confused about compiling the ZOracleDA. From what I read there, I need to have python installed on the Oracle machine and build the DA on that machine. Sun= www server HPUX= Oracle server
Can I just copy $ORACLE_HOME/lib to the sun machine and then build the DA or is there some other voodo I'd have to bring along?
You'll need to build ZOracleDA on the Sun. For this, you'll need the Sun version of the oracle client libraries. I don't think Oracle make their client libraries available separately. Anthony -- Anthony Baxter <anthony@interlink.com.au> It's never too late to have a happy childhood.
Zopistas, It would be incredibly usefull if someone could help me with this one: Does anyone have a compiled copy of ZOracleDA for Oracle 8.0.5.1 running on SunOS 5.5.1 that I could have? Alternatively, if they have Oracle 8.0.5.1 running on SunOS 5.5.1, would someone like to get paid a reasonable sum for compiling ZOracleDA for me? If there's more information I need to provide, let me know. -- Ethan "mindlace" Fremen you cannot abdicate responsibility for your ideology.
