and my dream list would be:

- can run multiple copies of the editor at once - class browser for python, with expand/collapse of code (like the editor for Python 2)

XEmacs :-) (what I used for the last few years on NT) Visual SlickEdit (maybe you can finish my Python support -- I think it's now available from the VSE site).
