I realise that this is the Zope list and Plone is a seperate product but doesn't have a mailing list which I can easily access, so I'll ask a quick question if I may... I've done this in the past but can't figure it out any more. I want to insert a links slot on the left of a Plone screen. What do I need to add under Properties in the left_slots? I tried this but it isn't recognised:- here/portlet_links/macros/portlet Do these slot entries relate to files in the Products/CMFPlone directory? -- John
You have to write the links portlet. See: http://plone.org/documentation2/howto/editable-static-text-portlets/howto_vi... http://plone.org/documentation2/howto/how-to-create-static-slot/howto_view Plone has an email list @ plone-users@lists.sourceforge.net. I knew there was supposed to be a mailing list but the last time I tried to subscribe - several months ago - I never got a reply and could only access the newsgroup. The mailing list seems to be fixed now so I've joined.

Please ask on the plone-users mailinglist. That's why it is called plone-users. This is list for Zope related questions. Thanks, -aj
