I have had experience with integrating Zope with MySQL on Linux with the MySQLDA. For an upcoming project, I will need to use Zope and Oracle on WinNT. Am I correct is thinking that the OracleDA only works on Unix, and the the ODBC DA is my only option on WinNT ? Also, which version or module of the Oracle suite should I be using (Oracle8, Oracle8i, Oracle 8i lite, Oracle RDB) ? thanks for any info., Darcy --------------------------------------------------- Ph: (734) 764 3377 Email: darcyc@engin.umich.edu URL: http://www-personal.engin.umich.edu/~darcyc/ --------------------------------------------------- 'If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate' ..... OracleDA works on Windows NT too. I have successfully tested it with Oracle 7.3.4. Arpad Kiss ----- Original Message ----- From: Darcy Clark <darcyc@engin.umich.edu> To: <zope@zope.org> Sent: Tuesday, January 25, 2000 5:32 PM Subject: [Zope] Oracle and WinNT

yes, the oracle adapter is only for unix variants. yes, use the odbc adapter. "version of module"? If you mean odbc driver, use whatever you got with oracle, but check technet for upgrades. ----- Original Message -----
