I was once a enthusiastic PHP fan, I discovered PHP in it's 2nd incarnation. While Zope has a bit of a steeper learning curve, I can only recommend you do spend some time figuring it out.
Here my main reasons, why I have given PHP the boot and moved to Zope:
Python is the better programming language - more supported functionality - higher utilisation (not just for web apps) - real OO
Zope's security model This is actually what made me look at Zope in the first place. I had a spec for security requirements that would have taken our 3-man team 4 months to do in PHP. We got it for free with Zope!
Ease of operating It took me 30 minutes to teach a UNIX newbie how to run Zope on his own box, including installing, starting, stopping, making backups, copies and restoring from backup. The stuff just always works!

Thank You for your tip, i agree with every point, I like zope very much, i like it's idea, willing to learn more about it, but php will stay number one for me for a long time.
