hi, I was reading in Linux Journal about the Netcraft survey. They mention some stats on Zope. I think a few of the hosts with really good up-times were using FreeBSD and Zope, if not that it was Linux and Zope. j. ...................... ..... Jason C. Leach ... I was handed a copy of the article at the LinuxExpo in Amsterdam. I lost the copy since, but the particular paragraph mentioned Exodus as having the highest number of distinct sites, and the top up-times on Exodus where mostly Zope run servers. In this particular report referenced by the article, Netcraft had introduced it's uptime data. Zope.org was mentioned because it's uptime had hit 1 year on the day of the release of the report. The Zope servers mentioned in the LJ article certainly includes the Zope.org server, which runs Linux. Note that Zope.org has since been moved to a different hosting provider, bayMountain, when it was moved to a ZEO cluster there. -- Martijn Pieters | Software Engineer mailto:mj@digicool.com | Digital Creations http://www.digicool.com/ | Creators of Zope http://www.zope.org/ ---------------------------------------------
