This is not my experience. I use it on OS X Server 10.2.6 and find it quite fast. My colleague just upgraded from some version of windoze server to OS X 10.2.6 (not server) and experienced a huge speed boost. It is "boring slow" compared to what? I might be hadding for a new job. They are interested in implementing Zope in their corporate stucture, a mix of Sun, MacoS (version unknown), linux and WinNT. They are moving towards Xserver, on wich I have no impact. It seems they already ordered such a system. There they asked me if Zope runs on Xserver. What's the point with Xserve? Zope runs fine on MacOSX without problems (10.2.6).
