I'm trying to set up a Squishdot website for our company's news and feedback site. There is zero instructions on how to do this, and apparently no how-to document either. Can anyone /please/ remember, when posting a product, to also please post appropriate documentation as well? Even if it's a completely minimal skeleton -- something to go on would be helpful! :-) Anyway, that having been said, can someone please help? I got the package installed, and the basic HTML interface apparently works. But no news postings I post seem to be coming up. Any ideas? (I know that the site is moderated, but how do I approve/disapprove the message postings?) ========================================================================== KC5TJA/6 | -| TEAM DOLPHIN |- DM13 | Samuel A. Go into admin (there is an admin link on the left) which simply gives you the Zope manage screen for the squishdot folder. One of the tabs at the top is 'Postings'. Choose that. There are listed all postings from oldest to youngest. The ones marked with a red (?) asterisk have yet to be approved. Click on one. You can modify the posting. Don't forget to check the approval checkbox. Note that there is a bug in that the text boxes have extra space inserted on hard line breaks; I usually delete all the extra space each time I go in. You can reduce that effect by not putting in hard line breaks when composing the original post; it's HTML anyway, so it's the <p>'s, </p>'s, and <br>'s that affect the actual line breaks in the result. Note that if you want to add subjects, go into the TopicImages folder and add the image the standard Zope way, then go back to the main squishdot folder and choose the topics tab, which allows you to add new topics; enter the graphic image name in the same format that you see the others in. Hope that helps.... Cheer...
