Dear Sirs, following on the reply of Mike Pelletier: yes the password given in the password file is: '%s' I downloaded Zope for Linux about 2 months ago (sorry, don't now the version because I am in my office), but it was only yesterday that I installed it. Unfortunately the command "python zpasswd.py access" reports an error. Shall I maybe just delete the installation and download a newer version of Zope? Dear webmaster, I installed yesterday Zope on my linux machine and it went quite well so far. The password file gave username/password: superuser/%s
this is unfortunately not accepted. Could you please tell me what went wrong and what I have to do at this moment.
Are you saying that it told you your admin password was '%s'? That is quite odd. How did you obtain and install Zope, and what version was it? You may use the 'zpasswd.py' program to reset the superuser password. In the Zope directory, type 'python zpasswd.py access'. In future, please direct questions about Zope to support@zope.org, or the mailing list, zope@zope.org. The webmaster email address is for questions and comments about the Zope.org website specifically.
Thank you very much for your help. Daniel Raible Rome Italy
