You might look at mysqlUserFolder. I've not used it (yet) but will with my next project. And, yes, it is probably overkill for what you want. If you want something very simple, you can always roll your own.

yeah we have postgres here. :( i think SimpleUserFolder will do it. but havent tried it yet ... k -- don't believe everything you think
