I would definietly like to hear more babout this discussion, since I'm in these thoughts too. I've done some Java but prefer Python. I had a glance at the webware project but that one weren't as well documented so I tried out Zope for starters. I've just started to wonder were the limits are, what can I do and not do with Zope? I've just started out but yes, where are the IDE? regards Stefan

Hope you don't mind me butting in to satisfy my own curiosity. Do you have prior experience with J2EE + Oracle to back this up?
