Just upgraded to 2.5 beta 2, still having the same problem described in collector bug 47 But in any case, I went to edit my standard_html_header and I cannot save it. Even though I'm manager I get the dreaded "you do not have proxy role" And strangely enough the role "Anonymous" is in the list and highlighted for standard_html_header. Not sure how that got there, but the usual solution is to assign myself that role, then go clear the role from the object. But when I go to the root /acl_users, "Anonymous" is not a role that can be assigned. And it cannot be created as a local role because it's "already defined". So, I'm completely horked.. I have to delete, then recreate standard_html_header. Anyone know why the Proxy role "Anonymous" got assigned to my standard_html_header (which is not in the root) ? And strangely enough the role "Anonymous" is in the list and highlighted for standard_html_header. Your options include:
* edit as superuser (not manager) (--> mailing list archives) * give your manager the role "Anonymous" beside the role "Manager". Dieter

this is the point of my complaint, you cannot give a user the "Anonymous" role. first, its not in the list of Local roles, so you can't assign it, second, you cannot put it in the list of local roles because "that role already exists".
