RE: [Zope] Re: Zope FreeBSD Distribution
Problem: FreeBSD ports collection stock install. Leaves out some modules. You can compile python (1.5.2 natch) from scratch, or else look for directions, given sometime this month on this mailing list, for modifying Makefiles to get it installed.

To get Python-with-SHA, in <Python-source-dir>/Modules/Setup, uncomment the line corresponding to the SHA module and rebuild Python.
This is odd, it's compiled in by default on 1.5.2... hmmmm, are you sure you're on 1.5.2?

I found that I had to reinstall the port. An earlier version of 1.5.2 apparently didn't turn on SHA or rotor or any of the usual crypto suspects. Once resintalled from ports, things work just great. -scooter -- Scott Michel |"Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to | hate.
