Brian, here are the steps to recreate: Caveat: Anonymous is unrestricted at the root level 1) Create a folder 2) Remove inherited (acquired) rights for all attributes 3) Add a user to the folder 4) Give the user the manager role 5) Access the root level using a restarted (clean) browser to confirm accessibility 6) Access the new folder created in (1). You should be prompted to login. 7) Login using the new user account 8) Now try to access the root level again. You should be prompted for a password.
