IE doesn't expire cookies
I have run into a rather strange problem with IE. It appears to not expire cookies, making it rather difficult to use IE with a logout button. THis seems to only be a problem when using a SiteRoot and https through an Apache server. Has anyone else seen this? Hopefully, this is not an idle question and the intersection of: - secure web application - cookie authentication - logout - WinIE front end is not too small! You need to set the path for IE when you set the cookie and when you expire it for it to work in IE -- Michael Lewis Nichestaffing.com Web: http://www.nichestaffing.com Email: mlewis@nichestaffing.com Phone: 970-472-1241 Fax: 970-472-8497 "The Israelite army looked at Goliath and said, he's so big we can't possibly win.
