I agree with you: you should have control over this stack trace. However, I fear, you will need to change the Zope source to get this. It should be easy to implement: Bind the traceback to a variable in the namespace, the "standard_html_error" page is rendered in rather than appending it directly. The "standard_html_error" is free to do with it whatever it likes. Maybe, you file a feature request into the Collector. Dieter
