You can use "cut&paste".
You know:
Everything you can do via the management interface (ZMI) can be done via a script. Just look at the ZMI source.
The elementary methods are in "OFS.CopySupport.CopyContainer" ("manage_cutObjects", "manage_pastObjects").
Dieter.
How do I implement this through a script?
Kindly point me to anything I can read for assistance. Not sure whether I should take this request in earnest....
You look at the source to find out which parameters these methods need.
You call the methods with the required parameters in your script.
When something about this is not clear to you, you need some background reading (e.g. the Python Tutorial).
After that, you can come back with concrete questions...
To say it crystal clear:
I am not your consultant and I am unwilling to solve your trivial problems. You need to do something yourself! Dieter
Sorry ! I DID NOT MEAN TO UPSET UP WITH MY QUESTIONS!!! I am really sorry if I have done so. Also thanks for the advise.
