Hi, On http://www.zope.org/Members/andym/ZSyncer, the last version of Zsyncer is 0.4.6 and is 10 months old. Andym -the author?- also invites the visitor to pick the latest ZSyncer from CVS where there seems to have been changes committed less than 2 weeks ago. Which version should a newbie pick? Regards, -- Gérard
Paul Winkler <pw_lists@slinkp.com> would be a good contact. Jlio Silva <jsilva@ruido-visual.pt> recently posted an extension (see the archives). I have been working on a product "Son of Zsyncer" which solves a slightly different problem, the export of a portion of a site to a list of other sites. It's in use at the moment, but it is really pre-alpha code. On Sat, 30 Aug 2003, [ISO-8859-1] Grard Oogle wrote:

The version on zope.org, just because its old doesnt mean there is anything wrong with it. There will probably be a new release soon based on that CVS when other good folks, like Paul, get around to it. Gérard Oogle wrote:

Andy's advice is sound. 0.4.6 is pretty reliable and well field-tested. You can try the current CVS version if there's something in the changelog that you particularly want. I will note that I have been using the current CVS code in production daily and it's been fine for me. Read the changelog here: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/zsyncer/ZSyncer/changes.txt?r... -- Paul Winkler http://www.slinkp.com Look! Up in the sky! It's MONOTREME THROBBING BLADE!
