Do you mean launching Zope on a Linux box which also runs VMWare from time to time ? In this case I've seen no problem so far. Or do you mean launching Zope in a VMWare session on a Linux box ? In this case I've never tested. bye, Jerome Alet
I'm running a linux vmware session (mandrake 9.0) from within w2k. can't get zope to start, but i'm sure it's not vmware. Is there a message or traceback of some sort ? Are you sure that you'ge got at least the loopback interface running in your Linux session (127.0.0.1, which you can check with the ifconfig command) ? If no network interface works, then probably Zope won't start. hth Jerome Alet
