I am looking at various CVS like products. I have looked at MS Source Safe, will look at PVCS and am looking at CVS. At this time I have found a CVS server CVSNT (the company is full of MS). Also a client TortoiseCVS that works in MS file manager. However there is a product called viewCVS and it's written in python. That is always a good sign. To the question Is there at Zope Product to browse details in the CVS repository? I don't have the skills to convert viewsCVS to a Zope product and I am not sure it will work in win32. Thank for any pointers.

Reading this makes me seem to remember long ago there was a Zope product which went some distance into letting you run standard python CGI scripts without modification. I was just looking around for any info on this, but can't seem to find any. I wonder if someone remembers where that might be... and whether ViewCVS might work with it. I use ViewCVS myself, but under Apache. If you are going to set up Zope to run behind an Apache server you get the best of both worlds... you can run your standard CGI from apache, and proxy the rest from zope through apache. -- Tim Middleton | Cain Gang Ltd | One afternoon, disgusted, bravo, you fall x@veX.net | www.Vex.Net | asleep. --T.Lilburn (MS)
