Replacing default Python with ActiveState 2.1.3
Hello. I am trying to replace the standard zope Python with the ActiveState version (2.1.3) so that I may enable Perl scripting. Can anyone tell me what paths, in what files, have to be changed in the Zope configuration to point to the new Python? My zope is at d:\zope My Python is at c:\program files\python If there is a howto on this that anyone knows about-- this would be useful too? Thanks. See Zopista's notes on this: http://www.zopezen.org/SDot/999364621
I only changed the path to "python.exe" in the "start.bat" script on a Win98 box, This worked for me... This way you can use (non portable of course) Windows COM objects from Zope products or external methods. --Gilles ----- Original Message ----- From: <hpinson@indepthl.com> To: <zope@zope.org> Sent: Tuesday, May 28, 2002 5:44 PM Subject: [Zope] Replacing default Python with ActiveState 2.1.3
