[ANN] Zope 2.7.4b2 released
Dear Zope Community, on behalf of Zope Corporation and all Zope 2 developers and contributors I am pleased to announce the release of Zope 2.7.4 b2. This release is a maintenance release and fixes a lot of bugs (too much to mention them all here). Zope 2.7.4b2 can be downloaded from http://www.zope.org/Products/Zope/2.7.4b2 The release notes can be found at http://www.zope.org/Products/Zope/2.7.4b2/CHANGES.txt Andreas Jung
I have been spending a lot of time migrating from 2.7b4 to the new 2.7.3 and was wondering if maybe I should hold up for 2.7.4. Thoughts? Jake -- http://www.ZopeZone.com Andreas Jung said:

Look at the release notes and check yourself if you need to upgrade to 2.7.3 or 2.7.4. -aj
I read over all of them and since I am 95% there on 2.7.3 (with Plone 2.0.4 and CMF 1.5) I was just about to pull the trigger when 2.7.4b2 came bounding along. The list of bug fixes between 2.7.3 and 2.7.4 looks pretty big, thus asking the question. I guess I was looking for more testimony of someone who has been playing with both. The goal of final releases are to be stable and to have less bugs than earlier versions. So I really don't understand what you intent with your question or what you want hear. -aj
Here is what I would want to hear... "Hey Jake... I have been using 2.7.3 for a few weeks in that configuration and it works pretty well, not big issues at all. 2.7.4 on the other hand is not as stable, so I would go with 2.7.3" Or... "Hey Jake... wait for 2.7.4, it has some pretty serious bug fixes including the security one, so just hold out a few more days." Of course, talking to myself is not really the answer.
