Howdy, I just installed BackTalk-0.3.tar.gz on my Win2000 setup. I have 'allow comments' checked. I don't have comment buttons, the navbar button says 'COM off' In Mozilla 1, clicking 'COM off' button does nothing, in Opera 6.0 the button toggles to 'COM on' but does nothing else. Any suggestions? Thanks, Kent

That's a toggle button. When it says "COM off" it's asking you if you want to turn comments off. I suspect you've only put one line of text in the body of the document, and thus BackTalk thinks its a header (which don't have comment buttons). Try adding more text, specifically a multiline "paragraph".
It seems that to generate a button I need blank lines either side of the text, and a carriage return inside the text. Thanks, Kent On 16 Aug 2002 08:52:25 -0400, Chris McDonough wrote: On Fri, 2002-08-16 at 08:23, kent@springfed.com wrote:

Right. That's what structured text considers a "paragraph". ----- Original Message ----- From: <kent@springfed.com> To: <chrism@zope.com> Cc: <zope@zope.org> Sent: Saturday, August 17, 2002 7:08 PM Subject: Re: [Zope] BackTalk questions It seems that to generate a button I need blank lines either side of the text, and a carriage return inside the text.
