Since you wrap two new-style <!--#var--> tags in one '<dtml-eval>', plus an arbitrary amount of HTML, there's nothing to stop folks from wrapping their entire file in a big '<dtml-eval>'. It seems a bit contrived, IMHO. If you correct that by insisting only one eval per <dtml-eval>, you haven't gained anything over the old way of doing it.
Hmm, what I was going for was an arbitray amount of HTML and entities, but no other DTML. It was just an idea. 01 (my two bits) Michael.
