Python freezes in lwp_sema_p()
We are running Python1.5.2b2 (with thread support) , latest DCOracle, Oracle 7.3 under Solaris 2.5.1. Some of our applications hang in about 10% when they run. We trussed the binaries and discovered that they all sleep in a lwp_sema_p() call. Python/thread_cthread.h seems to mention a problem with the Solaris PThreads implementation however I can't figure out if this is the real problem. I am not sure whether it's a problem of Python, DCOracle or the Oracle libraries. Any ideas or comments ?
