newbie: Question on Folder Workflow
Question: Within 'folder_workflow', is it possible to change the initial state of 'visible'? If it is possible, how can set the initial state of a document (or any other objects) to a state of 'hide' instead of 'show' ? I am stuck on how to change the initial state of an object in the 'visible' state. In other words, I do not want any content to be accessible by URL or search unless it has been approved to be 'published'. Feedback is much appreciated. Paul.

Then select the contents tab and open any of the workflows there present, probably the default is what you want. Now you have access to all the states and transitions on the tabs. Select the states tab and you can now set the initial state of each object and also define the states available from each of the other states. On the transitions tab you can see what each transition does and even define your own.

This is a CMF question. Please ask CMF questions on the Zope-CMF mailing list (zope-cmf@zope.org). Select the states tab for 'folder_workflow'. Check the checkbox next to the state you want to make the initial state ('hide' in this case). Click the button labelled "Set Initial State.' Troy paul@freestylenetworks.com wrote:
