Newbie question - Editing content and workflow
Hi All, I'm new to Zope and this list. I have bought "The Zope book" and installed it etc. and think it's a great dev environment. A few questions I would like to ask please? 1) How do you accommodate for users maintaing their content who have little or none HTML experience? I have seen HTMLArea (http://www.interactivetools.com/products/htmlarea/) has anyone used this with Zope? Or is there a product that people use or recommend? 2) What the best way for maintaining workflow? 3) Is there a newbies zope list as this list seems geared to the more experienced user? Hi Mike, you should check out: http://www.zope.org/Members/Caseman/ExternalEditor Plugs in your favorite Text/HTML/Graphics-Editor into Zope.

Have a look at CMF/Plone... http://cmf.zope.org & http://www.plone.org

No... Newbies should read the Zope-Book and ask all the things which they don't understand on this list.

Maybe "structured text" (personnally, I do not think it is easier than HTML) or a WYSIWYG HTML editor (search the mailing list archive).

We use DCWorkflow (in CMF) and are quite satisfied.
3) Is there a newbies zope list as this list seems geared to the more experienced user?
