Hello, I've downloaded Zope 2.5.0 and double clicked on the start.bat file. A command window comes up, the first line is a call to python, and the next thing I notice is my computer is restarting. Anybody has an idea? Op system: Windows ME. TIA, Gogulus

This shouldn't be a problem with NAV. I've stopped every service in Windows ME, only the explorer and the systray were running as a service, two explorer windows were open + one putty. Clicking on the start.bat caused the system to reboot immediately. Any ideas? TIA, Gogulus Ps. Maybe Win is not for making software. I should better use my Debian :) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Henny van der Linde" <linde@inline-info.nl> To: "Gogulus" <gogulus@tvnetwork.hu>; <zope@zope.org> Sent: Thursday, January 31, 2002 3:46 AM Subject: Re: [Zope] Cannot start Zope on Windows ME

If you have a linux or *BSD boot disk (an install disk will do) it's a great way to check your hardware. If you have bad hardware (eg memory) you'll often not see a problem in Windows, but get nasty errors, and possibly a kernel panic when you try to boot a 'nix OS.
