Hello, what is the difference between a ordered folder and a normal folder in Zope 2.7? Thanks, Florian
Florian, why do you think people are writing product description on their product homepages? It should be easy to find the corresponding page either by searching on zope.org or by using Google *before* posting such a trivial question. -aj --On Dienstag, 14. It's not harsh. I am just frustated to see that people are too lazy to figure out very easy things on their own....it is rude to misuse a mailinglist because of personal laziness. -aj --On Dienstag, 14. Oktober 2003 13:20 Uhr -0400 BZ <bz@bwanazulia.com> wrote:

I did say it with a :) <smile>. In general I agree though... people will ask "easily answered" questions on this mailing list that two seconds worth of searching could have done it. The problem is, that Zope really still suffers from a lack of resources in terms of knowledge base, faqs, forums. This list is really the start and end of help AND people are helpful here. I know that I would never have gotten too far with Zope years ago, if not for this list. BZ -- http://www.zopezone.com http://www.bluewildfire.com

thats not the same as the ordered folder support in Zope 2.7 (although in the Changelog it says: (thanks to Stephan Richter for inspiration and some code) ) The OrderedFolder is documented in the IOrderSupport.py Interface-File.
