Re: [Zope] Are Versions Reliable?
Yes I confirm I've seen some problems with commited versions not unlocking modified objects, but I think that was fixed. The problem I still see in versions is that when you in a folder create one object, nobody else working out of the version are able to create objects in that folder because the version has locked the folder. But this are small problems if you use versions with caution they are really one of zope's great features. Best Regards, Júlio Dinis Silva

What has been your experience with Versions? I like versions and use them regularly. I did not yet have serious problems (they are not fine grained enough to really support parallel development, but that is another issue).
Is this a reliable feature of Zope? Have you ever been unable to roll back changes made in a Version or been unable to commit a Version's changes? It never happened to me. But a colleague reportet recently that he had commited a version but still could not access the modified objects. I commited again, and see the problem went away. I did not believe my colleague....
