Hmm.. I can't recreate this. When you try to delete a ZCatalog does it give you a traceback?

No, it just gets in a loop asking me for my login and password, but I'm already the superuser. You can try it. http://www.hams.com/Zope/manage . Log in as "superuser", password "Michel". Perform any management activity just to verify that the superuser role works. Then check "Catalog" and press the delete button (there's nothing important in there yet, and I've backed up the object database). See if it breaks for you, too. Tell me when I can change back the password. Thanks Bruce
