Dunigan and Sedat, Thanks for your replies. I was thinking along the lines of Sedat's method, but wasn't sure how to do it - thanks for the example! The XML-RPC does seem to be the solution of the future, and since I want to send XML to the other Zope, this may be the answer I was looking for. Thanks again! Etienne
