some additional data points on those crashes: in my test setup (CVS checkout using ZOracleDA) i found the following ways to avoid crashing: - using Pavlos' cure (setting DEBUG=1 in asyncore.py) - manually closing the oracle database connection or deleting it (which renders the membership components of my site useless since all that info is in oracle) - calling the offending page directly in a python interpreter by talking to ZPublisher and circumventing ZServer my suspicion is some weird interaction between the database adapter and ZServer. jens ---- Jens Vagelpohl jens@digicool.com Software Engineer www.digicool.com Digital Creations (888) 344-4332 Got Zope? ----
