now an existing role (f. e. Owner) should be able to get 'Change DTMS Documents' right for that document-object. I assume <dtml-call "pre_article.manage_permission()"> I can not tell you the details.... But I would look at the (DTML) source of the management interface that changes permissions ... and after (say) ten minutes, I would knew how to do it....
