ExternalEditor auth problems

      I have developed authentication problems with the external editor.  It's worked fine for quite a while but yesterday stopped letting me save back to zope.  I've tried multiple users including the superuser. I've added all WebDAV permissions to owner/manager/authenticated.  I've restarted the server after each change and relogged in.  I'm a bit at a losss about where to go next.
I'm using ExternalEditor 0.5.
