Re: [Zope] freezope users
Just looking for a free mailhost. I use yahoo mail (mail.yahoo.com) Do you know of any mailhosts that provide free service w/o authentication? complaw@hal-pc.org on 09/19/2002 02:01:32 PM To: Eric N. Dunn/USA/BAC@BankofAmerica cc: Subject: Re: [Zope] freezope users
Does anyone use freezope.org and config. the mailhost to use the polarhome.com mailhost?
I use freezope, and configure mailhost, but not to polarhome.com. Is there a particular problem? Some e-mail servers won't relay messages that come from a domain other than their own. Ron

That aren't already flooded with spam traffic [1]? Not offhand. [1] A smtp relay that works without authentication and would let your off-site Zope site send mail through it would basically be an open relay. Assuming your Zope provider doesn't have a usable mailhost, you're basically out of luck. -- Mike Renfro / R&D Engineer, Center for Manufacturing Research, 931 372-3601 / Tennessee Technological University -- renfro@tntech.edu
