I have the simple question: Why not? zope 2.7 is said to be based on python 2.2, but wouldn't it be nicer to base it on python 2.3, so the coming zope 3 and the zope 2.7 would share this big issue (backporting, and..) Stephan
Having Python 2.3 support would be nice but it is not so important since the the switching from Python 2.1 to 2.2 was the major and more important step with the introduction of new-style classes.
