I no longer work for Digital Creations, and am not sure who would be responsible for DA issues there. I have had a cursory look at the DB/2 Python DB-API interface that was written and it seems to be thread safe, making writing of a high-performance DA much easier. I would imagine you could actually steal the Oracle DA code for that and have it up and running in a matter of minutes.
