Hi. Has anyone experienced this? When using Homesite 5 as an FTP interface to Zope 2.5, upon file save, HomeSite throws an error: "A discrepency in the byte counts of the local copy and the copy saved to the remote server has been detected. There may have been a problem in the transfer..." And any changes to the file are not saved. You can tell homesite to disregard such discrepancies. Since its a long time ago I did adapt my installation (maybe even before the update to Homesite 5) I do not remember where it was. Hi Robert. Yes, I turned off the warning, but files still will not save. Did you experience anything like that? Right now, i'm attributing it to HomeSite's eternally flaky FTP.
